Just found out the Arabia plates have been reissued by Iittala for Oiva Toikka's 50th anniversary with Iittala. (for those who don't know, Arabia Finland is now part of Iittala.)
I was at the Finnish Place earlier this week picking up some Marimekko Fabric for a wall art. And saw a display of the plates. The smaller, coasters I got aren't a part of the reissue, but at least I can get the larger middle sized plates... (I broke one, putting a espresso maker on it, without letting it cool.)
(Though the replacement cost is 2 TIMES what I paid for the entire set of 6 plates.. )
